booking your Boudoir experience

The 4 stages of your photoshoot experience

1. – Your in person or phone consultation

2. – Your make over & guided photo-shoot

3. – Your ordering session

4. – The collection of your bespoke order

1. – Consultation & Booking

All of our experiences start off with an in person or phone consultation. With it being such a personal session, we want to ensure you feel as comfortable & welcome as possible. If you need support due hard of hearing or any disabilities, please let us know so we can arrange something to suit you.

Once booked, we will email you a booking confirmation and contract for you to sign which will outline our terms and conditions (nothing scary!). It’s  just our policy on cancellations, no shows and placing orders. This also gives you lots of handy hints and tips ready for your shoot.

You will  receive a second phone call from us before your shoot to ensure that you are feeling ready for your boudoir experience and to give you a chance to ask any last minute questions.

Everyone has a different reason for booking, however here are some of the reasons we often see… Coming of Age, A Confidence Boost, Recovering from Illness, A gift for your Partner, A treat for yourself … and yes we really have photographed every age shape and size of individual.  All of our posing will be tailored to your body and confidence levels.

2. – Makeover and guided photoshoot

When you arrive you’ll be greet by Julie or Karen. We’ll then have a chance to offer you a drink & sit down to begin your experience.

Your makeup artist will have a consultation with you before starting to ensure they are able to create a look you feel comfortable & happy with. You are always welcome to make it known if you’d like to make any changes throughout.

Your photographer will look through your outfits with you & you can discuss together how you’re feeling which will determine which outfits you’ll go for first. Usually we start you off clothed to ease you into it. We’ll then guide you through the whole process being mindful of any insecurities you have.

3. – Ordering Session

4. – Collection of your order

At Kensa Boudoir  we will have everything beautifully presented for you, this could be a print and mount selection, a USB Box or an album.

We always notify you when orders are ready and if posting is required then we make sure this is packaged well and sent securely.

We love seeing the excitement of people collecting their order.
