I have always felt different and I couldn’t understand why for a long time. I came out in 2022 during covid, being a girl was always a huge release for me and there came a time where I realised that I wanted to be Jessica all the time.
I was reserved, shy, barely stood up for myself and I didn’t like socialising much. Now since coming out as a trans woman, my whole life and personality has changed for the better. I am now more outspoken, confident, sociable and I have come a long way. My partner introduced me to Kensa Boudoir who had a photoshoot done with them, they inspired me to go and do it. I then plucked up the courage to book a photoshoot with them back in November 2025. I was a little bit nervous but I went through with it and was given a warm welcome by Karen who was so lovely and kind. She really helped me get into the zone with the shoot, she was very friendly and did a great job with my makeup, and I have never felt so elegant and sexy!
I embraced my gothic style using reds and blacks to go with my aesthetic including hair and clothes. I got quite emotional after Karen showed me my photos. A spark had hit me and I realised from then on that I wanted to become an alternative model which is my current ambition and dream! Being a trans woman in this society can be challenging and difficult at times. This is why I love how Kensa Boudoir is so inclusive and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community! I would highly recommend these folks for a photoshoot in your journey. I will certainly be back again, thanks so much Karen for looking after me!
